Numbers is the fourth book of the Old Testament in the Bible. It was written by Moses under the instruction of God, mostly as a census. It records all of the "numbers" of the Israelites who were wandering the the desert at the time. The book of Numbers is one of the five original books of the Torah in Hebrew religion, also being known as the Pentateuch.
